Christopher Gann
Founder & CEO

Bio

Prior to participating in the Company, Mr. Gann was CEO of Genomatica, a local chemical company producing genetically engineered petrochemicals. He brings 27 years of experience with The Dow Chemical Co, of which during 24 years he had P&L responsibility. His focus towards results earned him positions as global Vice-President for several business units of Dow, and served on the Board of Director’s of companies owned by Dow. Mr. Gann was VP for the global Hydrocarbons and Energy, Global Technology Licensing and Catalyst, and also for the Global Polyethylene businesses. In his Hydrocarbon role he oversaw purchase of ½ billion cubic feet of gas daily, as well as Dow’s Pipeline, Storage and Brine Mining businesses. Mr. Gann brings a proven track record of successfully leading diverse business models and entities operating all over the world. For several years he was the Treasurer of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association. Mr. Gann serves as Chief Executive Officer for the Company, and is a founding member.

Daniel Najor
Founder & EVP Operations

Bio

Mr. Najor has a 35 year successful track record as an investment banker, investor and serial entrepreneur. As the founder of DLN Financial in 1984, Mr. Najor has developed over 20 companies and 30 projects over his career generating a diversified portfolio of investments. His expertise has been in finance, marketing and strategy where his diversified expertise in dealing with complex business challenges has given him a unique competency. He has focused on the development of new companies that leverage new innovations that bring value to shareholders and investors. Many of these companies are those that Mr. Najor was the founder of, or early financier. He has led capital formation resulting in over $500 Million in successful financial transactions, many at the forefront of new technologies. These transactions include multiple sectors such as telecommunications, real estate, natural resources, banking, credit, gaming, retail, information technology, food industry and energy. Mr. Najor, a co-founder of the Company serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Robert Gardes
Founder & CTO

Bio

Mr. Gardes has more than thirty-five years of experience in directional drilling with extensive expertise in both inland and offshore wells. He has been a pioneer in the development and patenting of such concepts as underbalanced multi-lateral multi-seam Coalbed Methane (CBM) and Shale Gas drilling as well as friction-controlled drilling of high-pressure wells. He is the founder, director and CEO of Gardes Energy Services Inc. and president of CBM International, LLC, both being privately held directional drilling and project management companies. GESI and CBM International, LLC have been in the forefront of these innovative technologies and GESI was the first company to drill horizontal multi-lateral wells in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Alexander Hern
Founder & EVP Corporate Development

Bio

For 20 years Mr. Hern has been an entrepreneur focusing on early stage spin-off and incubation of technology companies. Mr. Hern Co-Founded and served on the Board of Inktomi, IPO (INKT) sold to Yahoo. Mr. Hern is Co founder of Yesmail ( YESM ) and served on its Board from inception through IPO and sale of the company to CMGI for $650 million ten months later. Mr. Hern was the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Military Commercial Technologies (Milcom ) Mr. Hern Co founded and served on the board of Arcsight,IPO then sold for 1.5 B to Hewlett Packard, CloudShield sold to SAIC. Mr. Hern has been a Board member of NewHomes.com, Triton Network Systems IPO ( TNSI ) Zero Knowledge Systems now Radial Point.

Doug Wight
President

Bio

Mr. Wight is a senior exploration geologist with 35 years of oil and gas experience in the energy industry. He has global conventional exploration and unconventional reservoir experience. Mr. Wight has held senior management positions with independents focused on the use and development of horizontal technologies. He was VP of Exploration with FIML and Division Manager with Murchison Oil and Gas in Midland, both companies focused on the development of unconventional reservoirs using horizontal technologies in the Permian Basin. He further held positions as VP of Business Development for CDX Gas LLC, VP of Exploration for Woods Petroleum, Durham Inc., Lynx Exploration, B&G Petroleum, and was President of Anderra Energy Corporation. He began his career as an exploration geologist with Texas Pacific Oil and Gas in Midland, Texas in 1979. Mr. Wight attended the US Naval Academy as an ocean engineer and attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with a BS in Geology. Mr. Wight is a member of the IPAA, AAPG, WTGS, Western Energy Alliance and TIPRO. He is also a board member of the International Coalbed Methane Symposium and a member of the Alumni Advisory Council for Geology and Geophysics at the University of Oklahoma.

Technology Platform

The Gardes Energy Corporation has drilled over 5280 wells worldwide. Of those wells, the Gardes/CDX technology is proven in more than two hundred wells both in the United States and abroad and is protected by several U.S. and foreign patents.

Bullish Energy selected drilling technology has been validated over the years by many CBM industry leaders, such as Penn Virgina, Nexen and Encana.
